Pricing questions
Do I need my own Stripe account?
Yes — onboarding is a Stripe-hosted flow that takes minutes, not a multi-day approval. Your ticket money settles into that account directly; Trendtyx never holds it.
Are there any hidden fees?
No setup fee, no monthly minimum on Starter. Stripe's own card-processing fee (typically around 1.5–2.9% plus a fixed amount, depending on card and country) is separate — it's Stripe's fee for moving the money, not ours, and it's deducted from your balance the same way it would be for any Stripe account.
Can I switch between Starter and Pro?
Yes, any time. Your fee rate is based on your live subscription status, so switching plans takes effect on your very next sale — there's no separate migration step.
What about free tickets?
A free ticket never carries a platform fee, on either plan — zero, no exceptions. An order made up entirely of free tickets bypasses Stripe checkout altogether, and a free ticket type mixed into an otherwise-paid order is still charged nothing.
How do charities and not-for-profits apply for a reduced rate?
Registered charities, CICs, PTAs, B Corps, and social enterprises can apply at trendtyx.com/pricing/reduced-rates by uploading a registration or incorporation document. We review applications manually — there's no self-serve toggle — and the reduced rate applies from approval onward.
Running a free event? It costs you nothing.
No plan change, no upgrade, no separate tier to find — a £0 ticket is £0 to sell on either Starter or Pro, today.
